Ferguson Announces Redistricting Appointments; Sign-up Period for Special Session Testimony Opens Thursday
Senate Majority Leader Nancy J. King (D-Montgomery) will chair the decennial Senate Standing Committee on Reapportionment and Redistricting, Senate President Bill Ferguson (D-Baltimore City) announced Wednesday.
Sen. Antonio L. Hayes (D-Baltimore City) will serve as the redistricting committee’s vice chair. The Committee on Reapportionment and Redistricting convenes once every 10 years to consider congressional and state legislative redistricting, according to a Wednesday news release.
