National Conservative Celebs Coming to Western Md.

Two national conservative celebrities will be appearing simultaneously in adjoining Western Maryland counties Friday evening, raising money for GOP central committees.

In Hagerstown, Oliver North, the retired Marine lieutenant colonel, central figure in the Iran-Contra scandal and, until a week or so ago, president of the National Rifle Association, will be the headliner at the Washington County Republican Central Committee’s annual Lincoln-Reagan Day Dinner. The event takes place at Hager Hall.

Just down the road in Mt. Airy, U.S. Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), one of the leaders of the House Freedom Caucus, will be the keynote speaker at the Frederick County Republican Central Committee’s Lincoln Reagan Dinner. The event takes place at Linganore Winecellars.
