DMV Strategic Advisors LLC, the months-old public affairs firm founded by former Montgomery County council member Roger Berliner (D) and former Arlington County, Va., board president Jay Fisette (D), has added three consultants to its roster.
The newbies include Malcolm Woolf, who headed the Maryland Energy Administration and served as energy adviser to former Gov. Martin J. O’Malley (D). Most recently, Woolf led policy advocacy for Advanced Energy Economy, a multi-technology association of clean energy businesses. He previously served as director of the National Governors Association’s Natural Resources Committee, counsel to the U.S. Senate Environment and Public Works Committee, and senior attorney with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
The other new consultants, according to the firm’s announcement Tuesday, are Prince William County, Va., Supervisor Frank J. Principi (D), and James Patteson, a longtime top administrator in the Fairfax County, Va., government.
DMV now has 13 professionals connected to the firm from Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.C., including former state Sen. David Harrington (D-Prince George’s).
