We’re Preparing for a Very Busy Year — And You Can Help
There’s one thing we know for sure: 2020 is going to be a very busy and very consequential year.
The General Assembly under new management, with critical issues to be debated and decided. Key elections in Baltimore City and at the congressional level — not to mention a White House election of unfathomable import.
Gov. Lawrence J. Hogan Jr.’s tenure as chairman of the National Governors Association continuing. Leaders of Maryland’s biggest counties honing their agendas.
Here at Maryland Matters, we plan to bring you coverage of all of this in 2020 — and so much more. In fact, our coverage is expanding in the year ahead and our staff will be growing.
We’re excited by these developments. But bringing you high-quality journalism is an expensive proposition.
That’s where you come in.
Please consider supporting our work.
For four days more, through Dec. 31, all donations to our nonprofit, independent newsroom will be matched by a grant set up in the name of our late co-founder, Keith Haller.
In other words, any donation you make will be doubled in value!
Click here to make a tax-deductible contribution online. If you prefer to contribute by check, they can be sent to us at P.O. Box 11121, Takoma Park, MD 20913.
Your contributions will help our expanding newsroom deliver the stellar coverage of Maryland government and politics you’ve come to rely on.
If you’ve already contributed over the past few months, thank you so much! And if not, please help if you can.
Enjoy the rest of your holiday!
