So you think you’re a political prognosticator, eh? A budding Charlie Cook? You say you’ve been crunching early voting numbers in Garrett County and can actually make sense of them? Then you’ll want to enter Maryland Matters’ general election contest.

Larry Hogan and Maryland Republicans are seeking to flip five state Senate seats now held by Democrats so it will be harder for Democrats to override Hogan’s vetoes, assuming he wins a second term, and are targeting about seven or eight districts.
