The 2022 election could be one of the most consequential campaign cycles for Maryland in decades.
The pace of political change in the state is accelerating. By early 2023, we will have a new governor, a new lieutenant governor, a new attorney general, and a new state comptroller. The effects of redistricting could alter the makeup of the state’s congressional delegation and the Maryland General Assembly. And county governments are facing major change as well.
Throughout the election season, Maryland Matters will work to keep you informed of it all.
