I’ve asked our team to evaluate programs and services focused on innovative opportunities to move our county forward.”

Ball has also created transition group subcommittees, which will help him develop a battle plan for governing. They will cover: administration, citizen services, economic development, education, environment, health care, planning/zoning/permits, public safety, and public works.

Ball will be sworn in as Howard County’s 10th county executive on Dec. 3. He has asked for work to be completed by the transition groups by Jan. 8.
