Maryland Matters on the Air

Maryland Matters Deputy Editor Danielle E. Gaines will participate in a reporters’ roundtable on Maryland Public Television’s “State Circle” program, Friday at 7 p.m.

The segment is expected to include discussion of the state’s delays in paying unemployment benefits, Republican Gov. Lawrence J. Hogan’s attempts to cast himself as an heir to President Reagan, the governor’s latest COVID-19 restrictions, and the challenges associated with staging the 2021 General Assembly session.
