Maryland Matters on the Air

Maryland Matters Editor Josh Kurtz will be a guest on WAMU’s Kojo Nnamdi Show Wednesday afternoon, discussing Gov. Lawrence J. Hogan Jr.’s new memoir, “Still Standing: Surviving Cancer, Riots, a Global Pandemic, and the Toxic Politics that Divide America.”

Kurtz, who reviewed the book after it was published late last month, will join Baltimore Sun State House and politics reporter Pamela Wood in a conversation with Sasha-Ann Simons, who is filling in for the vacationing Nnamdi. Hogan declined an invitation to appear.

The segment on Hogan’s book is scheduled to take place on WAMU at about 12:30 p.m. WAMU is at 88.5 on the FM dial in the Washington, D.C., area and at 88.3 FM on the Eastern Shore. The program can be heard live at wamu.org or after it’s aired at https://thekojonnamdishow.org/.

Meanwhile, Goucher College political scientist Mileah Kromer is scheduled to discuss mail-in voting on WBAL Radio at 7:36 a.m. Thursday. Kromer wrote an op-ed on the topic in Maryland Matters this week.

WBAL is at 1090 on the AM dial or can be livestreamed at www.wbal.com.
