U.S. Sen. Chris Van Hollen (D-Md.) gets a fair amount of national TV airplay. But it’s rare he hits President Trump’s radar.
That changed Tuesday morning when Van Hollen went on Fox News Channel, Trump’s favorite network, and the president responded with an angry tweet.
…..So, what the hell has happened to @FoxNews. Only I know! Chris Wallace and others should be on Fake News CNN or MSDNC. How’s Shep Smith doing? Watch, this will be the beginning of the end for Fox, just like the other two which are dying in the ratings. Social Media is great!

Trump’s ire was directed more at Fox News than at Van Hollen himself, who Trump labeled “the no name Senator” who has been “forever playing up the Impeachment Hoax.”
“Really pathetic how @FoxNews is trying to be so politically correct by loading the airwaves with Democrats like Chris Van Hollen,” Trump tweeted. He later asked, plaintively, “what the hell has happened to @FoxNews”?
Van Hollen responded in the early afternoon with a tweet of his own: “Glad that you tuned in, Mr. President. Now that I have your attention, how about coming down to the Senate to share your side of the story under penalty of perjury?”
