Gov. Lawrence J. Hogan Jr. (R) hasn’t said a lot publicly yet about his second term agenda – except that it’ll look an awful lot like his first term.
But he is hoping you’ll attend his inauguration and related festivities.
Hogan’s office released a 50-second video Monday showing the governor speaking directly into the camera, wishing Marylanders a Happy New Year and urging them to attend his Jan. 16 swearing-in, “to get it started off right.”
Hogan also extends an invitation to “an unforgettable celebration,” the inaugural gala to be held that evening at National Harbor.
And he advises people to get to all the inaugural events early, to ensure they’ll get a seat.
“We hope you can join us in celebrating four more years of changing Maryland for the better,” Hogan says.
