Gov. Lawrence J. Hogan Jr. (R) will celebrate his second inauguration with a day of events on Jan. 16. Pre-inaugural services will begin on the north lawn of the State House at 9 a.m. and Hogan and Lt. Gov. Boyd K. Rutherford (R) will be sworn in at noon. A public reception and receiving line will be held at the State House at 1:30 p.m.
Later in the evening, Hogan will hold an inaugural gala at MGM National Harbor casino. Tickets for the gala, which starts at 8 p.m., cost $150 and are being sold online.
Details have yet to be released on who else will be speaking at the inauguration or performers at the gala.
