Baltimore Pride Festival Gets Thumbs-Up from Vacation Group

The Baltimore Pride festival, which takes place this weekend, got an endorsement this week from HomeToGo, the vacation and travel website. Citing a handful of factors, HomeToGo concluded that Baltimore has the fourth-best pride festival in the U.S. — behind New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco — and the 18th best worldwide.

The website ranked cities based on their travel connections; the year-on-year growth of their pride festivals; LGBTQ nightlife; LGBTQ laws; and accommodation affordability. The travel website also found that Charm City has the seventh fastest growing pride festival in the world.

The top five festivals worldwide, according to HomeToGo: Sao Paulo, Mexico City, Madrid, New York and Paris.
