Democratic Gubernatorial Candidates to Discuss Education Policy at Wednesday Forum

Seven Democratic candidates for governor are scheduled to speak at a virtual forum on education issues Wednesday evening.

The forum, sponsored by the Maryland Democratic Party, will be streamed on Facebook Live beginning at 7 p.m.

Maryland Matters Editor Danielle E. Gaines will moderate the discussion, and members of the audience will also be able to ask questions.

The seven Democratic candidates expected to appear are: former Prince George’s County Executive Rushern L. Baker III, nonprofit executive Jon Baron, former Attorney General Douglas F. Gansler, former Obama administration staffer Ashwani Jain, former Obama Education Secretary John King, former non-profit executive Wes Moore and former Obama Labor Secretary Tom Perez.
