Talbot County Councilmember is New Head of MACo Board of Directors

The Maryland Association of Counties installed new board members during its winter conference in Cambridge this week.

Laura Price, a three-term Republican member of the Talbot County Council, was sworn in as president of the association’s board of directors for 2022.

Howard County Executive Calvin Ball (D) will be 1st vice president, and Baltimore County Executive John A. Olszewski Jr. (D) will be 2nd vice president.

Queen Anne’s County Commissioner Jack N. Wilson Jr. (R) was elected secretary.

Frederick County Councilmember M.C. Keegan-Ayer (D) is treasurer. Caroline County Commissioner Wilber Levengood (R) will remain on the board as past president.

Other members of the executive board in 2022 are: Prince George’s County Executive Angela Alsobrooks (D), Charles County Commissioner Rueben Collins II (D), Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich (D), Harford County Executive Barry Glassman (R), St. Mary’s County Commissioner Randy Guy (R), Garrett County Commissioner Jim Hinebaugh (R), Baltimore City Councilmember Sharon Green Middleton (D), Dorchester County Councilmember George “Lenny” Pfeffer (R), Anne Arundel County Executive Steuart Pittman (D), and Carroll County Commissioner Steve Wantz (R).
