Providence Strategies, a small but growing Annapolis lobbying shop, last week announced that Rory Murray would be joining the firm as its newest principal.
He joins Michael Coburn and Michael Mason, the firm’s founders.
Murray, who has a decade of government relations experience under his belt — and is also a former state trooper — was most recently the vice president of Advocacy for the MD|DC Credit Union Association. He will continue to serve the association, which will become the firm’s newest client, in roughly the same capacity.
Other Providence Strategies clients include the Ivory Gaming Acquisition Corp., the Maryland Association of Soil Conservation Districts, and the Maryland Destination Marketing Organizations.
Coburn and Mason, Murray said, “have built a rapidly growing firm based on dignity and respect toward clients and decision-makers alike…I share these qualities.”
