Vice President Kamala Harris will spend a few hours in Baltimore on Thursday, as she and President Biden tout their administration’s successes on their 100th day in office.
Harris is expected to arrive in Baltimore shortly after 1 p.m. and leave shortly after 4 p.m.
She will be given a tour of Maryland’s mass vaccination site at M&T Bank Stadium.
Gov. Lawrence J. Hogan Jr. (R) and Baltimore Mayor Brandon M. Scott (D) are expected to greet the vice president there.
“I think it was picked because it’s a perfect example of a very well-run vaccination center,” Hogan said at a Wednesday press conference. “It’s part of our equity effort in Baltimore City and we’re cranking out a lot of vaccinations there. … We’re going to be proud to show it off to her.
Harris will deliver remarks from the stadium that will be livestreamed on WhiteHouse.gov/Live around 2:55 p.m.
Harris based her 2020 presidential campaign in the city of Baltimore.
