Public Policy Partners, the “white hat” Annapolis lobbying firm, announced Monday that attorney Suhani Chitalia is coming on board as a government relations associate.
Chitalia, the firm said, is an expert in environmental, social justice, and public health law. She has worked for American Rivers, the Environment Law Clinic at the University of Maryland Baltimore, the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission, and the U.S. House Committee on Natural Resources.
She has a law degree from the University of Maryland Francis Carey School of Law, and a BS in environmental science from the University of Maryland at College Park.
Chitalia joins the firm’s three partners ― Ann T. Ciekot, Robyn S. Elliott, Michele Douglas ― and Rachael Faulkner, the director of policy and research. The firm’s nonprofit, association, government and advocacy clients range from the ACLU of Maryland to The Coordinating Center.
