You Say You Want a Revolution? Group Endorses in City Elections

The group Our Revolution Baltimore City/Baltimore County on Monday rolled out endorsements in several Baltimore City races in the April 28 Democratic primaries.

The endorsements are based on questionnaires the progressive group sent to the candidates, followed by a forum the group hosted last month where more than 30 candidates spoke.

Here are Our Revolution’s choices:

Mayor: State Sen. Mary L. Washington

City Council President: Dan Sparaco

Comptroller: City Councilman Bill Henry

City Council District 1: Councilman Zeke Cohen

District 2: Tamira Dunn

District 3: Councilman Ryan Dorsey

District 4: Logan Endow

District 5: Chris Ervin

District 7: Tori Rose

District 12: Dave Heilker

District 13: Akil Patterson

District 14: Joe Kane

“Each candidate has shown support for progressive policies such as environmental justice, a commitment equitable investment in educating students in Baltimore City, criminal justice reform, equitable investment in the infrastructure of Baltimore City and transportation, a commitment to reforming Baltimore City government,” Our Revolution said in a statement.
