Annapolis Lobbying Firm Adds Communications and Government Relations Strategist

Communications strategist Gregory Snyder II is joining the Annapolis lobbying firm Bellamy Genn, LLC on Monday, with the title Government Relations and Communications associate.
Snyder comes to the firm from the Maryland Catholic Conference, where he served as associate director for communications and engagement. He has also worked for the Hogan administration, in the Office of Governmental Affairs for the Maryland Transit Administration; as chief of staff to state Sen. Johnny Ray Salling (R-Baltimore County); and as a legislative aide to Sen. Justin Ready (R-Carroll).
“We are thrilled to have Greg’s communications experience to advance the initiatives and priorities of our diverse clientele,” Bellamy Genn’s managing partner and founder, Lorenzo Bellamy, said in a statement.
The firm has expanded in recent months, joining forces with veteran Annapolis lobbyist J. William Pitcher during the summer. Snyder is the firm’s first hire with major communications experience.
“I look forward to using my experience creating advocacy materials for social media and written content to highlight our client’s priorities and educate stakeholders to achieve desired goals,” Snyder said.
