
More movement in the Annapolis lobbying world:
Matt Mullin, president and CEO of the firm High Street Strategies, announced Friday that Jen Brock-Cancellieri will be coming on board as a principal in the firm.
Brock-Cancellieri has been a fixture in the Annapolis advocacy world for several years, most recently as a policy analyst with 1199SEIU United Healthcare Workers East, Maryland’s largest health care union. She has also worked with the Maryland League of Conservation Voters.
“Jen has been an effective voice in Annapolis for
years and has established trusting relationships with many across a wide spectrum,” Mullin said in a statement.
Brock-Cancellieri holds an M.S. in Environmental Science from Mary Washington College and is a 1999 graduate of Green Corps, the field school for environmental organizing. She serves on several health care-related advisory boards and commissions.
High Street Strategies is based in Washington, D.C., with an outpost in Annapolis, representing clients before federal and state government agencies.
“I’m excited to get to work with High Street Strategies utilizing my policy expertise in health care, workforce development, renewable energy, cannabis and education,” Brock-Cancellieri said. “I can’t wait to get started.”
