And the Winner Is…

Maryland Matters‘ first-ever Maryland history and politics trivia night in Annapolis on Tuesday was a smash success.

More than 50 people turned out and gamely answered 50 questions across nine Maryland-centric topics. We were thrilled by the turnout and glad everyone seemed to have fun.

And the winner was … Team on Tap (pictured below, in the foreground), a team of staffers who work for State Comptroller Peter V.R. Franchot (D). Their effort was undoubtedly bolstered by the presence of Goucher College political scientist Mileah K. Kromer and lawyer/lobbyist Leonard L. Lucchi — especially Lucchi, who knows everything about Maryland politics.

Congrats to the winners and thanks to everyone who showed up! We have an overstock of 75 more questions, so another trivia night seems inevitable…
